A Former Friend
A Former Friend is an Americana-Gothic project shaped by wide desert skies, Appalachian backroads, and New England winters. Born in Arizona, raised in Kentucky, and now rooted in the Northeast, their songwriting carries the weight of American balladry—haunting, reflective, and unflinchingly honest. Like a modern troubadour reckoning with life, labor, and love at the edge of the apocalypse, A Former Friend brings a stark and moving presence to every performance.
